I show up to every job myself, run the equipment myself, and stand behind every yard of dirt I move. You'll always know who's on your property and what's getting done.
I handle every phase of your project personally — from the first site visit to the final grade. You'll always know exactly who is showing up and doing the work.

Get in TouchI'm Luke Thurston. I grew up in Vermont and spent years working in the trades before Montana finally pulled me west — the mountains, the hunting, the fishing, the space. I came out here for the outdoors and never looked back. When I'm not running equipment I'm outside regardless of the season, and that connection to this state is a big part of why I take the work I do here seriously.
I've been operating equipment for 11 years. It started in high school through a technical program, which led to a position with the New Hampshire Department of Transportation right out of graduation. From there I moved to a small excavation company where I spent years designing and installing septic systems — learning the detail work, the permitting process, and what it means to do underground work correctly the first time.
When I got to Montana, I went to work for a large company running site clearing and full subdivision excavation — everything from flat residential developments to mountain lots where the terrain makes every job its own puzzle. That experience, across all those different conditions and project types, is what I bring to every job I take on now.
I started Timberline Siteworx because I wanted to do the work my way — straight with customers, quality over speed, and accountable to the people whose property I'm working on. When you hire me, you get someone who has spent over a decade learning this trade from the ground up. My name is on every job, and I intend to keep it worth something.
I give you an honest price upfront. If something changes mid-job, I call you before I do anything extra.
I take pride in every grade, every cut, every finished site — because I live and work in this community too.
If I'm scheduled, I'm there. If something comes up, I'll call you ahead of time — not the morning of.
Licensed, bonded, and insured. You're protected, and I operate by the book on every job.
